West Jakarta Government held Gerebek Sampah at Rawa Belong Flower Market, Sukabumi Selatan, Kebon Jeruk, Sunday (8/26).

This activity was led by Acting West Jakarta Mayor, M. Zen by deploying tens joint personnel from PPSU, Environment Sub-dept., Forestry, Industry and Energy, Water Resources, and Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

He explained, Gerebek Sampah wa s done in Rawa Belong Market and its surrounding ahead of Gebyar Bunga 2018 event that will be held on Monday (8/27) until Wednesday (8/29).

"We improve several facilities and infrastructures in Rawa Belong Market by dredging water channel, pruning trees, repairing streetlights, and clean up the parking area," he stated.

He mentioned, Gebyar Bunga 2018 will be held to attract visitors, especially Asian Games athletes and official to visit the biggest flower market in Southeast Asia.

"On the last day of Gebyar Bunga, we will make Garuda replica using tuberose flowers," he conveyed.
