Koja Regional Heads Must Be Ready to Face Rainy Season

North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau, asked regional heads in Koja Sub-district to be ready to face the rainy season. In addition to maximizing coordination between related units, the handling would involve local residents.

"Do anticipation and prevention early," he expressed, in a briefing during the Koja Sub-district Coordination Meeting, Tuesday, (28/8).

Most of the Koja area is a densely populated area. Because of that, he advised that each drainage and pipe should work well when it rains.

"The handling must involve locals. Our PPSU must work together with locals to keep up the spirit," he told.

Koja Sub-district Head, Yusuf Madjid explained that his party has alerted 527 PPSU officers, 68 blue officers, 178 environment PJLP officers, 10 yellow officers, and 12 forestry PJLP officers. In addition to maximizing them, they immediately encourage the involvement of locals through RT and RW.

"We will intensify communal work. Every two officer will help five locals," he stated.
