East Jakarta SDA Sub-dept.'s Maintenance Section Head, Yoserizal said, it is needed to be repaired since many retaining wall sides are cracked and collapsed. It could be dangerous and its condition could be worsened if it is not repaired immediately.

According to him, retaining wall is repaired using river stone since it is considered more sturdy and not easily broken. Its foundation is concreted and covered by river stones. Then its upper part is also concreted.
"Request to repair this retaining wall comes from urban village side, TNI AU Headquarter and Halim Perdanakusuma Complex. We will finish it by December," he mentioned.
