Anies Inaugurates Pelican Crossing on Jl. MH Thamrin

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inaugurates pelican crossing at Bank Indonesia shelter, Jl. MH. Thamrin, Central Jakarta coinciding with the commemoration of National Customer Day.

He mentioned, Jl. MH. Thamrin is an example of public facility that provides convenience for pedestrians especially people with disability to use it.

"Coinciding with National Customer Day commemoration, it becomes our reminder as a service provider to give our best service," he stated, Tuesday (9/4).

Dishub Personnel Standby in Jl. MH Thamrin's Pelican Crossing 24 Hours

He explained, pelican crossing is one of Jakarta Government's efforts in providing convenience for pedestrian who want to crossing the road in more effective and efficient way.

"It will be easier for people to access bus shelters without being too tired using JPO stairs. Pelican crossing is also considered user-friendly especially for elderly, pregnant women, and people with disability," he explained.

In that chance, he also appreciates all apparatuses involved and PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) who have given their optimal services to residents.

"The benchmark is the user's level of satisfaction. I appreciate cooperation that we have done," he said.
