City Continues to Strengthen Food Security Cooperation

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Dept. continues to strengthen cooperation with Mitra Praja Utama (MPU) of Java, Bali, Lampung, and Nusa Tenggara in the field of food security.

We want to guarantee the availability of food stocks with low prices and good quality

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Dept. Head, Darjamuni expressed that the city continues to hold a meeting along with MPU in a bid to make good coordination between regions that are centers for food suppliers and those in need.

"We want to guarantee the availability of food stocks with low prices and good quality," he stated, after a meeting on strengthening the internal food security system in the scope of MPU, in one of hotels, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/13).

City-Majlis Belia Negeri Johor Discussed Youth Cooperation

He explained that an integrated information system is needed to strengthen food security.

"The existence of this information system will make the regions that are members of MPU can easily access and monitor the availability or stock of foodstuffs," he stated.

As for the information, the meeting itself took place from September 12-14, 2017. In addition to representatives from each region, it was also attended by Jakarta BUMD Directors from food clusters.
