1,083 Homecomers Arrived in Kalideres Bus Terminal

Entering 3 days after Eid ul Fitr, as many as 1,083 homecomers have arrived at the Kalideres Intercity Interprovince (AKAP) Bus Terminal, West Jakarta, Thursday (7/31) afternoon. They arrived using 277 buses from Sumatra, Central Java, and East Java.

For 2 days, 1,083 passengers have arrived in Kalideres Terminal, 720 passengers on 2 days after Eid ul Fitr, and 363 others on 3 days after Eid ul Fitr

"For 2 days, 1,083 passengers have arrived in Kalideres Terminal, 720 passengers on 2 days after Eid ul Fitr, and 363 others on 3 days after Eid ul Fitr," expressed Head of Kalidres Terminal, Joko Sukarno, Thursday (7/31).

Sukarno disclosed that such number has decreased 50 percent compared to Wednesday (7/30) yesterday. This is caused by many passengers dropped off in Tangerang, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Bekasi.

"Returning flow today, the number of homecomers is decreasing 50 percent than yesterday, because many passengers get off in the streets thus officers cannot collect their data," he told.

He continued the peak of returning flow is predicted to happen on 5-7 days after Eid ul Fitr. Terminal management also provides health posts, tactical command posts, and 6 buses for night service.

"We will cooperate with terminal management that has the right on returning flow," he explained.

Romli, (28), a homecomer who arrived from Lampung admitted compared to last year, the current homecoming run safely and smoothly. "Unfortunately, I only get leave about 5 days," he told.
