Car Catches Fire on Jalan Madrasah II

A car owned by Ibnu Sina (42) parked on Jalan Madrasah II, RT 12/10, Duren Sawit Urban Village, Duren Sawit Sub-district, Monday (9/17), caught fire. Allegedly it was triggered by electricity short-circuit in the engine.

No casualties in the incident, but the car owner experienced the loss by Rp 50 million

East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept.'s Control Division Head, Gatot Sulaeman disclosed that fire was occurred at around 11.25 AM. Without realizing it, smoke came out from the front cap and immediately burned his car.

"No casualties in the incident, but the car owner experienced the loss by Rp 50 million," he stated.

320 Fire Cases Occurred in Jakarta Along January-March

Luckily, locals were looking the incident and quickly put out the flames. They managed to control it within 30 minutes. After that, the firefighters came and only took the data of fire incident.
