3,000 Participants will Be Deployed to Enliven Momo Parade in E. Jakarta

They are local residents and student representatives

East Jakarta Government prepares for Asian Para Games 2018 welcoming event. 3,000 people will be involved to enliven Momo Parade, a part of this international sport event welcoming.

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said, his side has coordinated with related units to succeed Momo Parade that will be held on September 23. According to coordination meeting result, around 3,000 people will enliven Momo Parade. Momo is Asian Para Games 2018's mascot.

"3,000 participants will be deployed to enliven Momo Parade. They are local residents and student representatives. All of this is done for Asian Para Games succession," he said after leading regional coordination meeting in his office, Wednesday (9/19).

 

According to him, East Jakarta representatives who participate in parade will wear traditional clothes and school uniform. Some vehicles will be also decorated to enliven this parade.

For information, Momo Parade will be carried out in a route with about three kilometers long. It will start from southwest gate of Monas to Jalan MH. Thamrin, turn around at Bundaran HI and then return to northwest gate of Monas.
