E. Jakarta Pump Houses Ready to Be Used

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. ensures all pump houses in East Jakarta are functioned well and ready to be used when rain intensity starts to rise.

East Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Mustajab mentioned, pump house which is located on Jalan DI Panjaitan has machines with suction powers of 150 liters per second, 200 liters per second, 75 liters per second and 200 liters per second.

"This Cawang Uki Pump House is used to anticipate inundation at Cawang UKI Underpass. It is in a great condition and it can be functioned normally," he informed, Wednesday (9/26).

Meanwhile Cawang Wika Pump House is equipped with two pump machines with 500 liters per second capacity. Those are also in a great condition. Eight CCTVs which are installed on the location are also well functioned.

Next, Cipinang Cempedak Pump House has two pumps with capacity 250 liters per second for each. Then, Prumpung Pump House has six pumps with capacity 60 liters per second each. All is to anticipate inundation on Jalan Basuki Rahmat Underpass, Pasar Gembrong.
