PT. MRT Jakarta-IAI Holds Transport Hub Design Competition

PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta and Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) Jakarta holds Design Ideas Competition for Dukuh Atas Transport Hub Transit Oriented Area, Thursday (9/27).

According to governor instruction, we involves residents to participate in this Dukuh Atas Transport Hub Transit Oriented design competition

Six Dukuh Atas Transport Hub Transit Oriented Area design models which is made by six selected participants are displayed in this exhibition.

PT MRT Jakarta Increases Security in All Facilities

PT. MRT Jakarta Operation and Maintenance Director, Agung Wicaksono mentioned, this design competition is held after Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inaugurated Dukuh Atas Transit Oriented Area on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Blora Market former land, South Jakarta.

"According to governor instruction, we involve residents to participate in this Dukuh Atas Transport Hub Transit Oriented design competition," he said, Thursday (9/27).

In this competition, he explained, three main points will be assessed; those are planning and design which are supported by important aspects such as building integration with the environment, traffic circulation, and potential development in the future. 

At first, he continued, more than 60 participants joined this competition. But only 24 participants passed at technical selection and then jury chose the top 10 among them all. Next, top 6 are chosen to give presentation to juries.

"From total 6 personnel, juries only chose the best three candidates and pick one winner," he conveyed.
