Jakarta Communication, Informatic, and Statistic Dept. Acting Head, Atika Nur Rahmania stated that the application was developed by Information Technology Center and Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud).

"We have already handed over the copy of the E-Office application. In practice we won't cheat. Yet, with the existing infrastructure, we will redevelop it as needed in Jakarta," he told.
In the meantime, the Information Technology Center and Ministry of Education and Culture, Gogot Suharyoto expressed that the advantage of the E-Office is to make the correspondence bureaucracy more effective and efficient.
Aside that, the use of the application can increase the level of confidentiality in correspondence.
"How it works, the outgoing mail is then scanned, received and followed up. The process can be very fast, in minutes," he stated.
