Cilincing UP PKB's Identification Lanes will Be Added

Cilincing Vehicle Testing Unit (UP PKB), North Jakarta, will add more identification lanes to improve its service.

Cilincing UP PKB Administration Head, Rudi Saptari said, his side will add two lanes for identification testing stage thus vehicle queue can be minimized.

"Actually we already have two identification lanes, but we want to add two more lanes," he mentioned, Tuesday (10/9).

He explained, identification lane is used as preliminary examination of vehicles that would carry out the feasibility test. In this stage, vehicle's physical condition will be examined, such as lamp's function, vehicle body condition, chassis, chassis number, and machine number.

First of all, his side will expand the lanes' canopy. This construction is started from September 6 and it is targeted to finish on December 15.

"We are currently completing the building framework. Generally, construction widening has reached around 10 percent," he explained.
