City-BPJS Kesehatan Agreed to Cooperate in KIS Distribution

Jakarta Government and Jabodetabek BPJS Kesehatan are signing cooperation regarding Indonesia Sehat Card (KIS) distribution for Health Insurance Contribution Beneficiaries (PBI-JK) budgeted in Jakarta APBD.

With this cooperation agreement, mayors and regent will monitor urban village sides to ensure those remaining cards could be received by residents

Jakarta Community Welfare (Askesra) Assistant, Catur Laswanto mentioned, Jakarta Government has distributed 1,465,985 KIS cards for PBI-JK through urban villages since May. But, from that total KIS cards, there are 504,487 cards that haven't been received yet by residents until now.

"With this cooperation agreement, mayors and regent will monitor urban village sides to ensure those remaining cards are received by residents," he stated, Thursday (10/11).

Jabodetabek BPJS Kesehatan Deputy Director, Ni Mas Ratna Sudewi explained, this cooperation agreement with Jakarta Government is made to ensure KIS card can be received by PBI-JK up to November 11, 2018.

"Through this signing, we have agreed that until November 11, all cards must be distributed," she affirmed.
