Governor Wants Immunization Not to Be School Admission RequirementHe explained, health services in Jakarta in the future will be focused in promotive and preventive programs. Because currently it is mostly done in curative and rehabilitative patterns.
"Now Jakarta Government has OK O-Care program that can identify and anticipate health problems through promotive and preventive approaches. We will intensify it in urban villages," he explained.
He added, around 17 percent of Jakarta Budget is allocated for health services. Through promotive and preventive approaches, he hopes health costs could be reduced.
"Promotive and preventive programs implementation can also open job opportunities. We want many job opportunities can be offered in health sector," he affirmed.
