RW 01 Sunter Jaya will Be Arranged as Tourism Village

Soon, climate village of RW 01, Sunter Jaya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta will be arranged as tourism village.

Local residents and urban village apparatuses currently arrange the village which has been designated as climate village since 2015.

Each RW in North Jakarta Targeted to Have Climate Village

"We do some improvements for this village to prepare it to be tourism village," said Een Hermawan, Sunter Jaya Urban Village Head, Monday (10/23).

His side beautifies the village by adding some plants. Local residents from 24 RTs in RW 01 are also very enthusiastic to make their village becomes more greener.

"We sell food and beverages, souvenirs, and plants in this tourism village," he added.

Meanwhile, Head of RT 01/01 Sunter Jaya informed, survey team has checked the location on Sunday (10/21) to ensure other things needed for support.

"There are various products that will be sold in tourism village such as recycled goods, composts, culinary dishes, traditional foods, and plants," he explained.

He expects to realize this tourism village soon. Because this program is not only made for food tenacity, but it also can enhance local's economy.
