Three illegal temporary waste disposal sites (TPS)s in Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta are now closed. Waste disposal now is run in provided legal TPS.

Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village Head, Ika Yuli Rahayu mentioned, those illegal TPSs are located at RW 01, Jalan Panti Asuhan RW 04, and Jalan Otista III RW 08.
"We close those TPSs due to many complaints from residents. Now, residents follows Environment Sub-dept.'s suggestion by throwing garbage in legal TPSs. While the land will be used as green space and RW's ambulance parking space," she explained, Tuesday (10/23).
16 TPSs in East Jakarta will Be Repaired SoonAccording to her, provided legal TPSs are located on Jalan Otista Raya, beside Sport Youth Center, and Jalan Basuki Rahmat under Kampung Melayu Flyover. These TPSs are provided by East Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. by using four new motor carts (germor).
"Even though some TPSs are closed, but it doesn't bother people in disposing their waste. Because each RWs still have backup TPSs for their environment," she conveyed.
