Karang Riverbank Arrangement Will Beautify Pluit Area

A 2.3-hectare land that is located on the Karang riverbank on Jalan Pluit Karang Indah Timur, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta will be arranged into a green open space (RTH) in the near future.

The supporting facilities won't be built permanently and only around 11 percent. The rest of the green open spaces will beautify the area

Penjaringan Sub-district Head, Muhammad Andri stated that the place will be completed with a jogging track, a parking lot, and a culinary center.

He added that the project already has a building permit (IMB) and has gone through the stage of feasibility study and consideration.

"The supporting facilities won't be built permanently and only around 11 percent. The rest of the green open spaces will beautify the area," he expressed, Tuesday (10/30).

Aside that, he assessed the existence of parking lot is aimed to accommodate the visitors' vehicles in the shopping area around the land that is usually parked on the roadside. By so, the place will look more organized.

It is deemed in accordance with the spirit of community economic empowerment that is being promoted by the provincial government thus Jakarta will become a city that has developed its city and is happy with its citizens.

"The order in the area will be our shared responsibility, starting from the citizens, the government and the managers must work together," he stated.
