E. Jakarta Receives Youth-Friendly City Award for Main Category 2018

East Jakarta City Administration received Youth-Friendly City award for main category 2018 from Youth and Sport Ministry. This award is given while celebrating Youth Pledge Day at Meeting Hall of Balai Samudera, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Monday (10/29) night.

We are very proud with this achievement

This award is given by Indonesia Youth and Sport Minister, Imam Nahrawi and received by East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar. Not only certificate, but East Jakarta also receives plaque, and youth development fund Rp 120 million.

Anwar conveyed his gratitude for this achievement. Besides, this achievement can't be separated from youth's role.

"We are very proud with this achievement. But it is challenge for us to be better in the future," he stated, Tuesday (10/30).

According to him, this award can be achieved because East Jakarta has met some required indicators set by committee. Such as Jakarta Government support and guidance in youth regulation. Including facilities and infrastructure that can support youth activities, activeness of youth organizations and youth communities.

"East Jakarta provide adequate facilities and infrastructures for youth. Many international standardized sport facilities in East Jakarta and it should be utilized optimally by youths," he explained.
