South Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. conducted waste management training in six urban villages in Jagakarsa Sub-districts at Environment Dept. Complex, Jl. Kramat Gabung, Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.
In this training, participants are trained to process organic and inorganic waste
South Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Community Participation and Legal Arrangement Section Head, Yayat Supriatna said, 60 people participated in this training.
"In this training, participants are trained to process organic and inorganic waste," he explained, Tuesday (10/30).
City Commits to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions in 2030Participants were also invited to see waste management site which is owned by Environment Sub-dept. in Environment Dept. Complex.
According to him, this training is given to reduce waste volume in Jakarta and also to socialize residents to be more concern about their environments.
"We expect people to be more concern with their environments and turn trash to have economic value," he conveyed.
