100 Sacks Full of Mud Transported from RW 07 Karet Tengsin Channel

PPSU personnel clean up water channel on Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Barat I, RW 07, Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang Sub-district, Central Jakarta. Personnel collect 100 sacks full of mud sedimentation from the channel.

Channel is dredged to add its capacity thus inundation can be prevented in rainy season

Karet Tengsin Urban Village's Development Economy and Environment Section Head, Heru Prasetio said, water channel is cleaned to follow up local RW's request. This channel has 200 meters long and 25-50 centimeters wide.

"22 PPSU personnel are deployed to clean up mud sedimentation and trash using simple equipment," he stated, Thursday (11/22).

Pesanggrahan River Dredged from Mud

Mud and trash from the channel are taken to Karet Bivak Landfill (LPS), Jalan KH. Mas Mansyur, Tanah Abang. "Channel is dredged to add its capacity thus inundation can be prevented in rainy season," he conveyed.
