Vehicle Tax Arrears Operation Carried Out on Jalan Supriadi

We are targeting to net 335,985 vehicles which have tax arrears, not including luxury cars

36 joint officers carried out vehicle tax arrears operation on Jalan Raya Supriadi, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Monday (11/26). Road users who haven't paid vehicle tax can pay it directly on payment counter provided by officers on the location.

East Jakarta Vehicle Tax and Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee Services Unit (UP PKB and BBNKB) Head, Iwan Syaefuddin said, officers in this operation are focused on ordinary vehicles, not including luxury cars, which have tax arrears.

"We are targeting to net 335,985 vehicles which have tax arrears, not including luxury cars. Tax value potential that can be collected from target is about Rp 382,167,524,775," he conveyed.

According to him, operation is carried out on Jalan Raya Supriadi because his side estimates many vehicles with tax arrears pass by in this area.

"We will also inform vehicle owners who haven't paid their taxes by letter. Including to check them door-to-door in apartments and settlements," he stated.
