Sebira Island's Docking Pool Targeted to Complete in December

Docking pool construction on Sebira Island is one of resident's proposals in Musrenbang 2017

Docking pool construction in the main pier of Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district is targeted to complete by December 18.

Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Robert Edward stated, this construction that has been started since August is done to deepen the groove, to install sheet piles, and to repair pier.

"Docking pool construction on Sebira Island is one of resident's proposals in Musrenbang 2017," he added, Wednesday (11/28).

He explained the work progress has touched 40 percent. His side adds two excavators to accelerate ship's groove deepening.

His side also deployed one stake tool to install a 6-meter sheet pile. It uses Rp 10.2 billion budgets to realize this docking pool.

"Later we hope this docking pool can facilitate fishermen boats, regular and large boats to moor and do maneuver well," he conveyed.
