Torrential rain that pours Jalan Raya Nusa Indah, Malaka Jaya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta has triggered puddles, Thursday (11/29).

Fortunately it can be handled after sending the local PPSU personnel to the location. 

Previously, Jalan Raya Nusa Indah in RW 01 and 13, Malaka Jaya Urban Village was inundated up to 40-60 centimeters high at around 2 PM. This condition was also worsened by puddles in the basin area.

Malaka Jaya Urban Village Head, Lidiana Endah Viefrien Rahayu stated that the cause of puddles was normalization project on the connecting channel of I Gusti Ngurah Rai. As a result water could not flow well from the settlement.

"When it rains, we always prepare PPSU to the location to quickly handle puddles. So far it has receded gradually," he stated.
