Russian businessmen delegation led by Yu Rossomakhov visited City Hall to offer cooperation in information and technology (IT) field. This visit was the continuation of Sister City cooperation between Jakarta and Moscow since 2007.

In this visit, Jakarta Deputy Governor in Industry Trading and Transportation, Sutanto Soehodho greeted the Russian delegations who were accompanied by representatives from Russian Embassy.

Sutanto said, delegations gave presentation about Bezopasny Gorod (Safe City) System from a company group from Russia called Intellectual Security System (ISS).

"This company is very powerful in IT field and has 99.5 percent of local market in Russia," he stated after the visit, Thursday (11/29).

He informed, ISS is developing a system that focus on closes circuit television (CCTV) usage which is connected to satellite to monitor every corner of the city, especially public places such as stations, city parks, and pedestrian sidewalk.

"This technology is not only functioned to capture image or visual, but also to provide input as analysis material and reference for responses that need to be done," he explained.

According to him, the Russian delegations are also committed to provide not only hardware technology, but also software technology.

"Face recognition technology implementation will be very useful to analyze data from various situations in the field. We will review this cooperation offer further," he added.
