Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperative and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. and Indonesian Business Women Association Council (DPD IWAPI) of Jakarta hold an exhibition with theme "Pasar Kota" on Block G basement, City Hall.  

We need to facilitate market access as wide as possible

This exhibition is held on December 3-5 and participated by the best 50 UKM (entrepreneurs) in fashion, culinary, and handicraft.

Jakarta KUKMP Dept.'s Small Medium Enterprises Division Head, Dianrus Sitorus stated, this exhibition can be realized well due to a good synergy between government, business field, and community organizations or institutions in promoting coached UKM products.

"This exhibition becomes a chance to increase Jakartan's economy. It also becomes a moment to show the public that our UKM product's quality is not inferior to the others," he expressed, Monday (12/3).

According to him, DKI UKMs will be encouraged to develop and be more advance, including in utilizing digital technology via e-commerce thus their business can go international.

"We need to facilitate market access as wide as possible to grow and develop entrepreneurship," he mentioned.

Jakarta IWAPI is also expected to continue collaborating, especially in sharing experience and knowledge to the new entrepreneurs.

"We want Jakarta IWAPI to be an important part in enhancing citizens economy and welfare," he conveyed.
