Seribu Islands Regency along with North Jakarta City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK), will increase the supervision of drug trafficking ahead of the New Year holidays. It will also involve police and military personnel, especially in the entrances and exits of Seribu Islands region.

Seribu Islands Regency Secretary, Eric Pahlevi stated, during New Year holidays, local and foreign tourists will flock to the settlement islands and resort islands.

"It's done to prevent drug and liquor trafficking in Seribu Islands," he expressed, Thursday (12/6).

North Jakarta BNNK Eradication Section Head, AKP I Gede Putu Darmawan added that the efforts that will be made is security and inspection at the entrance and exit of the pier.

"We'll watch together at the pier and tourist attractions," he stated.
