Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. monitors food quality and food safety at Kramat Jati Central Market, East Jakarta. Current monitoring is targeting fruit and vegetable commodities.

Jakarta KPKP Dept.'s Agriculture Division Head, Diah Meidiantie stated monitoring is done by taking random 20 fruit samples and 29 vegetable samples.

KPKP Dept. Conducts Food Monitoring in N. JakartaShe explained, four personnel are deployed to take samples, while two personnel from Cibubur Agricultural Product Promotion and Certification Center UPT are deployed to analyze directly those samples in laboratory provided on the location.
"We are grateful all samples are detected negative containing dangerous substances. We will continue to intensify similar monitoring to ensure consumers safety," she conveyed.
