Until early December, 13,106 of 18,033 Light Emitting Diode Smart System (LED SS) street lamps (PJU)s have been installed in West Jakarta.

West Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. Head, Ery Ghazali stated, his department replaces street lamps from using HPS into LED SS lamps continuously in several protocol roads, collector roads, environment roads, and MHT roads.

He explained, 200 watt LED PJU lamps are installed in protocol road, 120 watt in collector road, 90 watt in environment road, and 40 watt in MHT road.
His side proposes to replace existing PJU lamps with LED lamps in 2,951 locations and install new LED lamps in 485 locations in City Budget 2019.
"Electricity payments can be reduced by almost 50 percent by replacing PJU HPS lamps with LED SS," he asserted.
