City to Hold FGD Related to Seribu Islands Electricity Needs

"We support this planning because PLTS can be a way to fulfill electricity needs of Sebira Island residents," he conveyed, Monday (12/10).

His side has surveyed the location where PLTS planned to be built which is near the soccer field in Sebira Island. Related to PE Dept.'s demand to Seribu Island PE Sub-dept to provide 6 thousand square meters land, this survey needs to involve related UKPDs since it involves appliance ownership, ownership validity, and spatial.

Meanwhile, Seribu Islands PE Sub-dept. Head, Melinda Sagala conveyed to continue fulfilling Sebira Island residents needs of electricity by operating diesel power plant (generator) from 14 hours into 18 hours a day. It has been done since early December.

"We will try to operate it 24 hours next year (2019). Moreover it will be supported by PLTS construction and I hope it could be realized soon," she said.
