Sandi Supports Use of Solar Panel

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno is very supporting the use of Solar Panel. It is because the technology to generate energy from sunlight is very friendly environment.

It can be developed in all areas of Jakarta

In addition to efforts to reduce the impact of global warming and other environmental crises, it can educate people to make energy-saving as a lifestyle.

"It can be developed in all areas of Jakarta, especially in buildings owned by Jakarta Provincial Government. It will be amazing and so is the part of smart city, smart environment, and smart living," he expressed, when he reviewed the Future Solar Powered House "smartliving", Jalan Pepaya Rayal, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, Sunday (7/15).

He asks the ranks of South Jakarta Administration to map any location or point that can be a pilot project.

"Just make it as a pilot, whereby it can be done at some homes and do not need to use the high technology, this is simple and has been ongoing," he stated.

He added the increasing need for the use of Solar Panel can open up many jobs.

"This can be categorized as environmental work or green jobs to produce green economy," he told.

In the meantime, one of the citizens who have applied the Solar Panel system at his home, Fazil expressed, Solar Panel is basically used for savings. Thus, the dependence of electricity supply from PLN can be reduced.

"We can see that electricity from the sun can meet the needs of this house during the day," he said.
