This Year's Budget Absorption Targeted Higher than Last Year

We are very optimistic that our budget absorption can reach 87 percent by the end of this year

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah is optimistic Jakarta Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) 2018 will be realized more than last year that reached 85 percent from total APBD or Rp 71.8 trillion.

He said that according to Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda)'s data, recently Budget Absorption has reached 67 percent from total allocation Rp 83.26 trillion.

This Year's Budget Targeted Higher than Last Year

"We are very optimistic that our budget absorption can reach 87 percent by the end of this year. It exceeds achievement in 2017," he said after holding meeting related to Budget Absorption 2018 at City Hall, Monday (12/17).

He asserted that currently numbers of development projects are still on progress and the contractors or third party have not charged it yet.

"We will ensure entire process in using budget is done according to procedure and regulation. Besides, we will monitor all budget absorption progress day by day," he conveyed.
