A number of events in Jakarta will be prepared to welcome New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be started at 7-11 PM.

For mass marriage, will be held in the Thamrin 10 parking lot. It would be participated by 557 couples.

There are also four entertainment stages from the southwest Monas gate to the HI Roundabout.
"As well as western music and eastern music performances along Jalan MH Thamrin," he told.
Closing on New Year’s Eve, around 70 tents will be set up for coached UKMs from 44 sub-districts to promote and sell their business products.

Then for joint prayer, will be held in a main stage in HI Roundabout.
"It will be held at 11 PM, including pray for our friends who have been hit by the Sunda Strait tsunami," he continued.
It is compliance with Governor Instruction Number 125/2018 on the implementation of New Year's Eve 2019.
"Jakarta Provincial Government has issued a circulation letter of City Secretary Number 2228/-1,885.1 dated on December 28, 2018 concerning the implementation of New Year's Eve 2019.
