50 residents from five RWs of Cikini Urban Village, Menteng, Central Jakarta have registered themselves to get Batik Training class in Textile Museum. This activity is facilitated by the local urban village.

Cikini Urban Village Head, Ati Mediana stated, this event will be held in February. Participants who have registered in this class are mostly PKK members.
"Currently we have registered 50 people for this class. Most of them are PKK members who have free time. Training is held at Textile Museum, West Jakarta," she informed, Wednesday (1/9).
Batik Training Given to 20 Pramuka Island ResidentsBatik training is chosen with expectation that residents could improve their skill in making batik. Moreover, she wants her residents to develop their own business by selling their handmade batik products.
