1,385 SMK Students Receive Construction Competency Certificate

As many as 1,385 students of vocational school (SMK) in the capital get a construction competency certificate from Jakarta Construction Development Agency (LPJK).

The certificate is given for four construction sectors, namely plumbing (370 students), rock (691 students), wood (176 students), and iron (148 students).
It was given officially by Jakarta LPJK Chairman, Trihono Kadri at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta and was witnessed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.

Anies explained that certificate ownership would make it easier for them to get work. That is why certification of all vocational education sectors can be realized.
"I appreciate the role of LPJK that has realized this certificate," he told.
On that occasion, another certificate as appreciation is also given to 23 schools, ranging from kindergarten, elementary, junior high, senior high and vocational schools, including Islamic junior high school Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and madrasah Islamic school (MI).
He also gives Adiwiyata Mandiri certificate to 10 schools and 9 schools that won the National Adiwiyata.
"Every school must be a place for growing habits, one of that is healthy living habits and caring for the environment," he said.
