"This collaboration is an important matter," he expressed, after witnessing the signing of MoU at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (10/4).
According to him, a job in Jakarta is available, but between supply and demand does not always have the right interaction space. As a result, there will be a gap.
"That gap is called unemployment. Although it's temporary, but it will enter the data," he told.
Through MoU, it could minimize it for those who cannot continue to the next level of education.
"Finish your school and then work. If schools and government deal with employment, so there is a process of interaction that is mutually beneficial for all parties," he stated.
PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya and PT Midi Utama Indonesia Head, Tri Wasono Sunu added that it is done as an implementation program for the revitalization of vocational schools in Jakarta that has been initiated since 2013 involving 5 vocational schools
"We support the vocational school revitalization curriculum that also needs to involve the private sector in providing employment," he stated.
As for the information, this year, the number of vocational schools involved has increased to 13. They ar SMKN 10, SMKN 22, SMKN 42, SMKN 45, SMKN 19, SMKN 13, SMKN 12, SMKN 48, SMKN 3, SMKN 8, SMKN 6, SMKN 20, and SMKN 17.
