Facilities in Four TPUs to Be Completed

Jakarta Forestry Department is about to repair and complete facilities and infrastructure at Pondok Ranggon Public Cemetery (TPU), Pondok Kelapa TPU, Penggilingan TPU, and Tegal Alur TPU.

Jakarta Forestry Department's Cemetery Division Head, Siti Hasni mentioned, her side plans to renovate the building, build security post, build additional toilet and repair TPU's road access and parking area.

"Pondok Ranggon TPU channel's retaining wall to be also repaired," he said, Thursday (1/24).

Fencing Installation to Be Done in Five Public Cemeteries

It is estimated construction in Pondok Kelapa and Penggilingan TPUs to start in early April. While Ranggon and Tegal Alur TPUs is i n June.

"Currently we are still compiling auction documents. Allocated budget to repair and add facilities in these four TPUs is Rp 14 trillion," he explained.
