UKM Arrangement for Better Future

We want to make the loksem to be more neat and make comfort for pedestrian

Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Agency (KUKMP) along with Jakarta Bina Marga Agency, held a joint workshop to synergize the arrangement of temporary locations (loksem) for small and medium traders (UKM).

It was participated by representatives of Transportation Agency, Industry and Energy Agency, Satpol PP, Economic Bureau, and Government Bureau.

Jakarta KUKMP Agency Head, Adi Ariantara stated that it was hoped to create a new breakthrough related with arrangement policy through sidewalk revitalization.

"We want to make the loksem to be more neat and make comfort for pedestrian," he expressed, at the office of Jakarta KUKMP Agency, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Wednesday (2/6).

They would synchronize to determine possible locations to realize the new breakthrough.

"We'll look for possible points. Talk about budget, it will be adjusted in 2020," he stated.

In the workshop, theory of refinement should be done massively which aims to increase trader's earnings and to meet the needs and comfort of consumers.

"We want traders and buyers to benefit and feel comfortable. So far it has been running in Tanah Abang and Pasar Minggu," he told.

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho expressed that the needs of UMKs will also be accommodated in the future.

"We'll map possible locations and harmonized with the KUKMP," he uttered.
