East Jakarta Mayor HR Krisdianto asks his people to maintain the safety and order of the city until the process of presidential election which still running in Constitutional Court (MK) is finished.

“The General Election Commission (KPU) has announced the winner. Therefore, East Jakarta residents are asked to maintain the situation remains safe and order,” stated Krisdianto after following the Indonesia 69th Independence Day anniversary ceremony held at East Jakarta Mayor office yard, Sunday (8/17).

According to Kris, this year’s Indonesia Independence Day anniversary has a strategic meaning since the nation to have a new leader. Thus, he asks the residents to respond it wisely.

“Don’t respond it excessively or too ignorant, and don’t be easily provoked by many issues. Just wait for the result from MK. Hopefully East Jakarta residents would see this situation as five-yearly leadership mechanism,” he uttered.
