Jakarta Environment (LH) Department is about to hold free emission test with theme "Emission Test Go to Campus" at Nasional University, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta on February 20 and Christian University of Indonesia (UKI), Cawang, East Jakarta, on February 27, 2019.

This free emission test is opened to public

"This free emission test is opened to public, especially vehicle owners on the campus. We start the emission test at 8 AM," informed Jakarta LH Department's Pollution Management Section Head, Agung Pudjo, Wednesday (2/13).

Free emission test is done to strengthen campaign about environmental care, particularly for air quality improvement in Jakarta.

"Hopefully we can improve Jakarta's air quality by controlling vehicle emission gas," he mentioned.

In this activity, Jakarta LH Department involves individual service providers (PJLP) employees that have been trained to conduct vehicle emission test.

His side also uses this chance to socialize e-Uji Emisi application to college students.

"We want to encourage them to use e-Uji Emisi application that can be accessed through their gadget," he added.
