100 Workshops Involved in Emission Test Program

Around 100 workshops to be involved for supporting vehicle emission test in the capital. 

Last year, we had 217 workshops, and this year our target is added up to 100 workshops

Jakarta Environment Department's Pollution Handling Section Head, Agung Pudjo stated that workshops that can hold emission test have plus value satisfaction from customers coupled with additional incomes.

"Last year, we had 217 workshops, and this year our target is added up to 100 workshops," he expressed, Wednesday (1/30).

Nevertheless, they must meet technical and administrative requirements as stated in Gubernatorial Regulation No. 92/2017 on Implementation of Emission Test and Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

 

"Besides business permit, they must also have tools, technicians, and staffs for emission test. IF they cooperate with us, they will have a logo," he told.

Hopefully it is able to attract more workshops in the future

"So if it is realized, the workshop will be integrated with us," he stated.
