Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency along with Jakarta Tourism Forum (JTF) is about to formulate the development of the tourism sector in Jakarta, including the Kota Tua.

This effort needs synergy between the central government, local government, and stakeholder

It would be realized through a discussion forum with theme "Synergy in the Development of Kota Tua Area", which is by involving observers and stakeholders to encourage, initiate and participate in optimizing tourism development.

Kota Tua Area Management Unit Head, Norviadi Setio Husodo said that the forum is quite interesting, as it speaks at the level of concepts and policies.

"This effort needs synergy between the central government, local government, and stakeholder," he explained.

There must be a proper formulation, understanding, new idea and breakthrough.

"Tourism has the potential to become a new source of the economy," he stated.
