Not all of members are working in City Hall
Pemprov DKI Jakarta Runners (PDJR) is non-formal runner community which is participated by civil apparatuses (PNS) and non-PNS in Jakarta Government. It was formed since February 14, 2018 with motto mens sana in corpore sano means a sound mind in a sound body. It becomes the medium for the members to interact and build strong friendship with the fellow runners.
PDJR celebrates its one year anniversary in City Hall on Thursday (2/14) and invites national athlete runner, Dedeh Erawati to share her tips and trick in running.
Healt Dept. Encourages People to Live HealthyPDJR Deputy Head, Achmad Sofyan stated, PDJR is not attached in Jakarta Government's structure, but because all members work in Jakarta Government thus his side uses name Pemprov DKI Jakarta Runners for the group.
"We are routinely practice running in our home base, Monas, or certain locations," he conveyed.
Currently they have 176 members and whatsapp group to ease their coordination and communication.
"Not all of members are working in City Hall. There are some of them who work in other regions and regency. I myself served in the Thousand Islands," he added.
He hopes brotherhood in PDJR could be maintained for long and members become healthier thus can work optimally.
