Majority of Elementary Schools Not Yet Receive 2013 Curriculum Book

The local Primary Education Sub-Department urged the principals to proactively inquire about the distribution of the 2013 curriculum books for Elementary School (SD) in Central Jakarta, to the Ministry of Education and Culture. This is because some schools have not received the book.

2013 curriculum book distribution is unoptimal, because its distribution doesn't involve us

"2013 curriculum book distribution is unoptimal, because its distribution doesn't involve us," said Head of Central Jakarta Primary Education Sub-Department, Sujadiyono, Monday (8/18).

July, City Implements 2013 Curriculum Simultaneously

Sujadiyono asserted, his sub-department would follow up the problem as soon possible. "We have done anticipation by preparing and distributing compact discs (CD) to all SD students. Then for subject matter print out into the disc, it would be handled by each principal in school," he expressed.

He furthered, thus far, only one out of hundreds of SDs in Central Jakarta that have received the 2013 curriculum books.
