Mampang River Citizens will Be Relocated to Komarudin Flat

After demolishing 300 illegal buildings around the Mampang River on Monday (8/18), the South Jakarta Administration will relocate the building owners to the Komarudin Flat at Pulogebang Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta.

Head of Flat Caretaker Unit for Region III, Sayid Ali disclosed coordination with South Jakarta Administration has been done and prepared 100 flats to the citizens affected by normalization project in Mampang River.
Mampang River Will Be Widened to 20 Meters"Last week, we held a meeting along with South Jakarta Mayor and we agreed prepare the Komarudin Flat for citizens living around the Mampang River," he told.
He explained those citizens would occupy two out of six blocks in the flat. "Two blocks have been occupied and two others are still being repaired. Each of them has 100 units," he expressed.
Although many units are available, he explained, his party remains implement a tight rule to citizens who want to live at the flat. A number of requirements that must be met are they must have Jakarta ID card, family card, PM1 letter from urban village that states do not have a house in Jakarta, and income document.
"And those who are married, must have marriage certificate. If it is not met, we evict them," he stressed.
