Semper Timur Urban Village commemorates National Waste Care Day 2019 by carrying out tumbler campaign at Daarul Maarif School, Jl. Madya Kebantenan, Semper Timur, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo said his side is targeting students in this campaign. He wants to socialize and encourage people, especially students to reduce the use of single-use plastic containers.

He considered that people awareness about plastic pollution need to be raised since early age. Thus his side is targeting to carry out this campaign in schools.
"We hope people can get used to drink using tumbler. It would be great if it can be a culture for our next generations in order to reduce waste," he stated.
