Channel Normalization Conducted on Jl. Kramat Kebon Sayur

Senen Water Resources (SDA) Unit, Central Jakarta conducts channel normalization on Jl. Kramat Kebon Sayur, RW 08, Kwitang Urban Village.

We dredge the channel to 60 centimeters depth thus it can prevent inundation

Senen Sub-district Unit's Measurer Officer (PPJU), Sajidin conveyed, normalization is done as long as 60 meters and as wide as 60 centimeters. According to him, normalization is needed to increase its capacity since the channel is full of mud sedimentation and garbage.

"We dredge the channel to 60 centimeters depth thus it can prevent inundation," he said, Thursday (2/21).

Channel Normalization Progress in Pegangsaan Dua Reaches 60 Percent

In addition to normalization, his side also maintain the driveway condition, build new channel as long as 54 meters, and build 10 manholes on the location.

"All constructions are done from February 1 and targeted to finish end of this month. Now its progress reaches 80 percent," he stated.
