2,160 Liquor Bottles Seized in Pejagalan

Joint personnel seized 2,160 liquor bottles from retail shops on Jl. Teluk Gong Raya, Pejagalan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. This operation involved personnel from Satpol PP, Police, TNI, Social Sub-department and apparatuses in Penjaringan Sub-district and Pejagalan Urban Village.

"We have seized 180 cartons of liquor contain of 2,160 bottles in total," said Budi Salamun, North Jakarta Satpol PP Civil Apparatus Investigation and Enforcement Section Head, Sunday (2/24).

He explained, liquor distribution is banned in accordance to Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 8/2017 about Public Order.
"We will monitor the area periodically to ensure the location is completely free from liquor distribution," he conveyed.
