"Today is a historic day which is happy and proud for all of us. In about two years and a half, we'll witness what has been the ideals and dreams come true in this place," he expressed, Thursday (3/14).

He appreciates all parties who have been involved to realize its development.

In the meantime, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) President Director, Dwi Wahyu Daryoto explained that the project land preparation and development process has almost been completed.

"Its physical work is carried out within three weeks after kick off," he told.

His party got the job of developing the stadium, which was stated in the Governor Regulation No. 14/2019 on the Assignment of the Jakarta PT Jakpro in the Development of Integrated Sports Areas.

"This is designed for green building (greenship) certification targeting platinum grade," he uttered.

The stadium itself will stand on a 221,000-square-meter width land with 82,000 spectators capacity.

It is also supported by facilities for people with disabilities such as, 200 seats and 25 toilets, as well as 24 parking lots.

There is also a parking lot with 800 cars and 100 buses capacity, as well as a large public open space 'plaza' with good greenery.

But don't worry for those of you who want to visit, as it's already integrated with Transjakarta bus, MRT, light rail transit (LRT), and Commuterline.

By so, Jakarta Provincial Government would have three international standard sports facilities after previously they made Jakarta International Velodrome and Jakarta International Equestrian Park.
