JPS Appreciates Anies for Realizing Jakarta International Stadium

Jakarta International Stadium is equipped with disabled-friendly facilities

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan kicked off Jakarta International Stadium in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta on Thursday (3/15). Many sides, especially football players and supporters who have long awaited this stadium, appreciate Jakarta Government's work.

Jakarta International Stadium Development Begins

Jakarta Public Service (JPS) Executive Director, M. Syaiful Jihad conveyed, this international standard stadium will surely make Jakartans proud. Thus he reminds people to take care of this stadium.

"We should maintain Jakartans positive image and become a good example of football in Indonesia," he conveyed, Friday (3/15).

According to him, completion of this stadium reflects Anies' great concern for advances in sports and football in Indonesia.

"Jakarta International Stadium is equipped with disabled-friendly facilities. It is amazing. We really respect Anies as Jakarta Governor who has paid attention to all of his people, especially those with disabilities," he stated. 

For information, Jakarta International Stadium is built by PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) on 221,000 square meters land with capacity of 82,000 people.

It is also equipped with facilities for people with disabilities such as 200 special chairs, 25 disabled-friendly toilets, and 24 special parking spaces for disabled-people.

Besides, its parking lot can accommodate 800 cars and 100 buses. It also has a wide green public open space. People can easily access this stadium using public transport such as Transjakarta, LRT, MRT, and Commuter Line.

Now, Jakarta has three international standard sport facilities: Jakarta International Velodrome, Jakarta International Equestrian Park, and Jakarta International Stadium.
