The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency has distributed portable fire extinguishers (APAR) aid to citizens in Cipinang Urban Village, Pulogadung Sub-district, East Jakarta.

Endang Darmanto (49), a citizen of RW 10 Cipinang said that his RW gets 10 units whereby they will be sent to eight RTs and two other units are stored in RW Post.

"Thanks for the aid of APAR," he expressed.

Another citizen, Firdaus (51) appreciates them who have followed up the request of the locals. Besides distributing APAR, they also hold fire education to the citizens. 

"Surely we need them, as our village is categorized as a density populated area so we can hinder fire incident early," he told.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Prevention Section Head, Edi Parwoko uttered that around 26 units of APAR have been sent to each RT, which spreads in RW 10, and 18.

"This is to follow up locals requests last year," he said.
